Training Nepali Style

Well it has been a fabulous 11 weeks in Kathmandu, Nepal, but I have my baby girl now so it is time to come home!!!  I have missed 2 boot camps and several weeks of training clients….so I am definitely looking forward to getting back to working everyone over:)  I have had plenty of time to reflect on  different training techniques.

Although it has been a little more challenging than usual to be inspired by fitness….I have managed to create some new workouts from Nepal.  My inspiration has come from experiences like the Himalayan foothills, the Sherpa people (climbing above 10,000ft in slippers while carrying 60lbs on their back) the Gurkha brigade (Nepali soldiers-the bravest, toughest, most resilient in the world!),  and the warm-friendly nature of the Nepali people (I plan to be warm and friendly when I’m barking orders….don’t worry:)  These people are definitely survivors!!!  And the mountains and terrain here are some of the most beautiful in the world.

Ok…blah blah blah…..It is time to get after it everyone!!!  Let’s call it training with a fresh, new perspective, shall we?  See you in BOOT CAMP ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 21st…..the perfect time to get after it…after the holidays and New Years resolutions fade, now is  the time to get back into it! We will be offering a 3 day and 5 day per week option (for those Gurkha types that really want to bring it!)
