The Race

A lot has happened since returning from my trip abroad while adopting my daughter….I am finally back in a rhythm….feeling healthier and stronger after coming back from 3 months of living in Nepal.

My daughter Orion is the joy of my life, a chip off the old block.

Next Boot Camp Monday May 16, 2011

Here is some information regarding our next camp beginning on Monday, May 16, 2011 at  5:30am. Remember that this is an outdoor camp-Come ready to workout RAIN OR SHINE!

Boot Camp Information/Directions

Eat breakfast!!
Dress in layers (Be ready for all weather:)
Bring water bottle
Small towel
Foam mat or Yoga mat
Pair of dumbbells (3# to 8#)

Training Nepali Style

Well it has been a fabulous 11 weeks in Kathmandu, Nepal, but I have my baby girl now so it is time to come home!!!  I have missed 2 boot camps and several weeks of training clients….so I am definitely looking forward to getting back to working everyone over:)  I have had plenty of time to reflect on  different training techniques.

A Balancing Act

Well I admit it has been a while since my last post….needless to say, I have had my hands full!  Never too full to talk about fitness, thoughJ

As many of you know I am in Kathmandu, Nepal and have been here since 11/22….I am adopting a 14 month baby girl, named Orion (aka Baby O!)  I have been busy preparing for this trip, the adoption process, reading parenting books, researching the importance of attachment with adopted children, etc…

Since I have been here I have tried to stay as active as possible…..but I have to say this whole ‘having a baby’ deal has really given me a new perspective on being a new mom, caring for an infant and balancing my own health and well being.

Make 2011 Your Year! Next Boot Camp Begins January 10, 2011

Are you ready to start 2011 STRONG?!  We will be having a 3 day camp , meeting M, W, F, beginning Monday, 1/10/2011 at the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club.  This is a 4 week indoor/outdoor training program beginning at 5:30am.  Please read the information below regarding our first camp of 2011!  See you next year!
