Join us for an unforgettable journey through Utah’s red rock country — a land of sculpted hoodoos, sweeping desert vistas, and ancient stories etched in stone. This 5-day adventure blends exploration, reflection, and connection as we hike through some of the Southwest’s most iconic landscapes.

Guided by Melanie Webb — a native Utahn, renowned outdoor expert, and founder of Sol Fitness Adventures — we’ll move mindfully through the desert, learning about the land, its Native peoples, and the unique ecosystem that has sustained life for centuries. Melanie’s calm, confident leadership and her blend of adventure and mindful movement create an experience that feels both grounded and inspiring. Each day offers a balance of exploration and restoration—from sunrise hikes and canyon wanderings to peaceful evenings beneath the stars at BaseCamp 37°, our beautifully remote glamping retreat near Zion, complete with safari-style tents, cozy beds, hot showers, and wide-open night skies that make every day’s end feel magical.

Designed for a small group of 10-12 women, this experience invites you to unplug, explore, and rediscover your own sense of wildness and wonder in the heart of the desert.

Paria Overlook

PARIA OVERLOOK & STUD HORSE MESA

After breakfast, we head 30 minutes east toward the Paria Overlook with our guide, Melanie Web. This trail offers sweeping views across the Paria Plateau and Vermilion Cliffs. The hike covers approximately 3–4 miles round trip with 300–400 feet of elevation gain on desert slickrock and sandy terrain. Expect breathtaking panoramas and open skies.

In the afternoon, we explore Stud Horse Mesa, an area of fantastical hoodoo formations, sandstone fins, and wide desert views. The route to Skylight Arch is a 4–5 mile loop over undulating slickrock and sandy washes, with some mild scrambling. We’ll end the day with sunset charcuterie and champagne before returning to BaseCamp 37° for dinner.

Buckskin Gulch

BUCKSKIN GULCH MIDDLE ROUTE

We start early for one of the most spectacular slot canyon hikes in the Southwest. Buckskin Gulch is the longest continuous slot canyon in North America. The Middle Route descent introduces hikers to towering canyon walls that rise hundreds of feet above narrow corridors, winding turns, and soft sand floors. We’ll hike 6–8 miles total, with minimal elevation change (~200–600 feet) but variable terrain that can include boulders, pools, and sections of mud depending on conditions. Expect about 5–6 hours of hiking including breaks, with plenty of time for photos and quiet reflection. Return to BaseCamp for rest and dinner.

White Pocket

WHITE POCKET EXPLORATION & CELEBRATION

After breakfast, we travel by 4WD vehicle to White Pocket, an otherworldly sandstone wonderland within Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. Known for its swirling rock patterns and vivid color palette, White Pocket offers endless photo opportunities and exploration without crowds. We’ll spend the day exploring 4–6 miles of open slickrock terrain with gentle elevation changes (~200–450 feet). The drive takes about 1.5 hours each way depending on road conditions. After returning to camp, enjoy free time to relax before a festive closing dinner and fire circle under the stars.
